It started with the day-to-day.
Running a bakery means keeping track of more than what’s coming out of the oven. There are customer conversations, dates, orders, payments and all the little details that make each job different.
We wanted somewhere to bring it all together. A way to know what had been agreed, what needed doing and what was still outstanding, without having to piece it together ourselves.
More tools wasn’t the answer.
Much of the software we came across handled one part of the business, but left us needing something else for the rest. The tools felt fragmented, and the costs added up.
We weren’t looking for another subscription to manage. We were looking for one connected place to manage the work.
Starting out, or finding your feet again.

That’s why we’re creating Ordely.
We’re building Ordely to help business owners get a handle on the details before they become difficult to manage. To bring bookings, customers, dates, paperwork and payments together, so keeping track doesn’t become a job of its own.
Our bakery gave us the reason to start. But this isn’t just about bakeries. It’s for people whose work looks different, but who want the same thing: to feel in control of the business they’re building.
Ordely was shortlisted for Digital StartUp of the Year (South East) at the UK StartUp Awards 2026.
We didn’t take home the trophy, but we’re proud to have been a finalist. The reason we started hasn’t changed: helping business owners spend less time keeping track, and more time doing their work.
